Work Smart. Work Safe.
Keep your "Heads Up" and work safe!

Heads Up Poetry Wrap Up

The time has come the walrus said to talk of many things.

Of safety, PPE and the winners of Heads Up Poetry!

Below are just a few of the entries we received.

I’m new on the job and work hard

I’m tired when I punch my card

I follow the rules
Goofing off is for fools

Staying safe is my plan; I’m on guard.

– Marcela

I once got hurt at work

It’s not because I was a Jerk

I was not trying to mess around

These things happen sometimes un – profound

Practicing being safe would be a perk.

– Chris Shymoniak

Safety! Safety! That’s our plan.

If we can’t do it, no one can!

– Dylan’s mom

Thanks to everyone who sent a poem in, and if you feel the urge to write more safety poems in the future don’t hesitate to send it in to us.

Until next week keep your Head up and trust your gut.

  1. Very nice poems! I especially like Chris’ … but Dylan’s mom’s is pretty catchy!
